Venezuelan visual artist Ricardo Perez Quintero technique is assemblage medium.

During his studies to become an architect and urban designer he was first involved with art. In his work one can recognize the influence of Cornell, Duchamp, Nevelson, Magritte and Uruguayan constructivist Joaquin Torres Garcia.

This artist can bring together, in one piece, different creative mediums such as assemblage, sculpture and collage. Rescuing lost objects (ready made) Ricardo Pérez Quintero, like a Tarot alchemist, transforms them into poetic objects and living objectual presences with no significative interventions.

His attractive and suggestive boxes elicit narrative, metaphorical and metaphysical readings from the spectator. Ever since Ricardo Pérez Quintero began exhibiting - in group and solo shows - people related to the art, architecture, music and journalism mediums have found and recognized the charm, poetics and rigor in his assemblages.
